How Taylor Felt makes music videos - Editing on Final Cut Pro X

After showing you what equipment she uses, and how she connects it all up, followed by how to record using Garageband on a Macbook Pro, Taylor Felt now discusses editing her videos for YouTube using Final Cut Pro in this third and final video in this series of tips.

Starting with the basics, such as how to open a new project, and then add a title, she then shows how to insert and trim a clip using the blade tool, followed by adding and syncing a track.

Next comes a few colour corrections to give the video more life and appear more vibrant.

To start the final procedures, Taylor shows how to add a transition to fade out of the actual singing part of the video. The transition leads to what is known as an end slate, and she also tells you how to get one of those made to include in your video.
